Heheh, so, I found a bug...apparently the limb-explody-thing is just set to happen when you stop moving. I made my horizontal speed 0, then at the apex of my bounce, I hit the zero-g key, I stopped, and then my arm exploded. :P

lol how'd you make your speed 0? I've had it down to like 10, and as high as 515 :D

Just hold down the left arrow. It's a really slow process, but you do eventually get down to 0...also, hitting stuff helps, especially spikes. As for speed, I've cracked 600mph and 7,000 feet elevation (I forget the exact figures). :D I still haven't managed to crack 200,000 feet distance, but my next goal is to get the 'less than 10 feet' achievement. :P

How? Did you somehow disable the seat launching and limb explodey stuff or something? The best I've been able to do is 435ft. Heck, each of my limbs steals ~85ft!

You can "downgrade" some of your stuff (vehicle, rocket, ejector) in the shop, tap the barrier as gently as possible at slowest walking speed, hold down the left arrow; that's how I got my <10ft and the water pool thing. I suppose it's best to get this achievement before you even buy your first upgrade, lol.

200,000ft?
I back the bike up, ram the barrier at full+nitro speed, tap zero-G and rocket and penguin at the apex ... easily gets about 500+mph and 7000+ft height on the moon ... don't even impact the ground until ~30K ft, usually can score about 125K before my speed/height is all gone, and only squeeze maybe 10-15K more per "explody" after that. I almost never release the Up and Right arrows and I try to spring at every impact*. It's all screwed up if I bump spikes or too much junk in the sky. I can't use grenades effectively when going too fast, say >50mph. My best is ~165K, 200K is just bloody impossible, lol. What am I doing wrong?

* I have to admit it makes me laugh when the dummy windmills and flops his limbs to bounce/crawl/drag/slide himself a last few extra feet. A trick I use often, without shame.

I hit 9 feet, but I had already purchased the limb exploding, so that went out the window. I think you pretty much have to do it before buying the exploding limbs.

My 400k+ was as follows. nothing special but here goes. I had everything upgraded except the iron man suit. on the bike hit.the wall flat out and immediately hit zero g. hit the rockets and as soon as I heard them stop, hit the penguin. then I let all keys go, no left or right at all and just sat with my hand over the space bar. just watched the altitude reading in top left and tried to judge when to hit space for the bonus bounces. then it was just a case of waiting for the end. height was over 8k and speed close to 600. really very little skill other than trying to hit space just before impact. idn if it matters, but this was done on the moon level

...incidentally, that time I also hit my current best length of 270,130..not that it sounds impressive anymore.. :P

Hahaha, nah, I could see it. If you hit an extra zero-g thing on the upwards bounce a couple times I could see another 100k, and I botched my first bounce and I think 2 more later after my grenades were used up...just that first one probably cost me 30k-40k...I just don't have the patience or the time to keep trying a lot. Once you pass the first two levels it really takes a long time.

I actually pulled out the camera and recorded a video of part of it as "proof" as it was SO much higher than anyone had been able to get - problem is, it's 1.4GB lol and video editing is one area I have never experimented with - after 2 hours of upload to uTube, I gave up heh

Those don't usually do a whole lot for me. Sure, maybe I'll get another 20k-30k or so out of the four of them, but when the max speed I hit with those is usually ~40mph, versus most of my first jump I'm going anywhere from 250mph to 600mph, it's just usually not a very significant portion of my run.
