Ok, so get this: Where I live my options for Internet access are dial-up, satellite and Sprint mobile broadband. Simple choice for me, I've had Sprint for a year and a half and have been very happy with the service. Problem is, like all other other carriers, they have a 5GB per month data cap, and charge something like 40 cents a bit after that.
Enter Virgin Mobile. Sprint owns Virgin Mobile. Virgin Mobile uses the Sprint network. But somehow, Virgin Mobile is able to offer *unlimited* internet for $20 a month *less* than Sprint.
Same company, same network, presumably the same hardware (other than the modem I had to buy), but unlimited access at a 33% discount. With no contract.
So if they can offer this through Virgin Mobile, why in the world can't they offer it through Sprint??
Regardless, I have it now and the possibilities are endless. Wooo hooo!!!!
