So...sitting at home at night, bored, my main computer's MBB is dead, and I probably should be going to bed but I'm not tired...so obviously it's time to experiment with strange combinations of alcohol. :P

So, long story short, I tried this and it was actually really good.

Served as a shot:
1 part guarana soda
1 part rum (70 proof Captain Morgan's, in this case)
1 part Jack Daniels (80 proof)
1 part Vodka (100 proof Smirnoff, in this case)

The mixture of flavours is really interesting. :D

I cant think of anything similar. Smirnoff has a Vodka and Guarana mix and there is Ignite which has Vodka and Guarana along with other fruit flavors. I haven't seen anything that adds rum and Jack to that. It does sound like a twist on maybe a long island ice tea.

Also what is a MBB?

Yeah, I thought to check what is normally in a Long Island, and it is similar, though normally whiskey isn't used there...

Is this sarcasm? If not, yeah, my motherboard died...stupid north bridge chip finally kicked it. :(

Sorta, I figured out you were talking about a Motherboard from your other thread.. I don't know where you get the second B from.. is it silent at the end?

Motherboard is normally abbreviated "Mobo" or "MB". I have never seen "MBB" in the 30+ years I have been dealing with computers.

"AMF's" have soda (7-up or sprite) and a few different alcohols. I don't them off hand though.

OvRiDe!!! I always thought you were better than to point a finger at someone who is suffering from a technical abbreviation stutter speech impediment - shame on you!!!!!

I've seen MBB used in the past, and always "knew" what it referred to, but I can't find any formal recognition of the abbreviation and have no idea what the second B could stand for, unless it's something as simple as Mother/Mainboard board - ie specifically the actual PCB part of a motherboard

/\This. IDK why the second 'B' is there (maybe to differentiate it from megabyte?), but that's always what I've known motherboard to be abbreviated as..can't say where I saw it first, but I've been using it for at least 10 years now and throughout that time most people I've talked to who it has come up have sued the same. *shrugs*

 You got me.

I've seen MBB used in the past, and always "knew" what it referred to I have only seen it used here that I can recall. In the context of the statements, you can figure out what it is being referred to.

The most common abbreviation that I have seen is mobo sometimes displayed as MoBo. In some schemes where they use 3 letters it's usually MBU for Mother Board Unit.

The only thing I can think of is maybe some manufacturer used it as part of a part number, or something like that.

Back on topic.. maybe you can name your drink the MBB.
