Midnight Riders Video Contest is coming to a close!

Hey everybody. I've had a thread in the video section that most of you have been ignoring. It's cool. I don't often respond to your guys' build logs. Here's the thing though, apparently the number of thumbs-up the video has received will have some sort of influence on the winner. There are only three more days left in the contest so it's important that you get in there and vote for my video!

There are eight videos that really stand out to me at this point. The first is my own video. With over 100 videos uploaded at this point, I think it's getting hard to find the gems. Another narrative driven live action. Lots of similarities to mine, but I know the ideas weren't stolen, just great minds thinking alike.

Flash animated midnight riders. A similar look to South Park in a few ways. It's enjoyable in general.

Claymation midnight riders. Not the best claymation ever, but original to this contest a high amount of work so it totally gets a top spot in my book.

I generally frown on videos that utilize the intro movies from the first two games, but this one stands out. There's some amount of refinement in this video not found in others.

I also have frowned upon in game footage, but this one utilizes machinima in a very cinematic way. Check it out! It's funny and really good. It held my attention even after hearing this song like . . . 200 times now.

Well, the submission process is over. Now I need your help in the steam forums. There's a thread where you can go and say which video is your favorite. I would really really appreciate it if you guys all went there and put up a link to my video. I worked really hard on this.

Come one you guys! This is crazy! I'd do this for you in an instant. So far one guy is killing it in the votes. His entry is pretty darn good, but mine is certainly on par. If all of you regulars on here would go and vote I would stand more of a chance. I need your help!

Come on guys . . . I have six votes, three of which I've earned by begging my friends and family. The guy who has the most has twenty right now, and I'm sure half of them are people he knows. If you guys would just go to this thread (http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1459966) and vote for my video it would help so much. Go and vote and then ban me from here for a month.

I've worked really hard on this and so far only Buzz and OvRide have commented. Both of them even helped me out. Everyone here needs to give +Rep to Buzz and OvRide for the help, then you need to go to that thread and vote for me. Then ban me for a month. Then, if I win, I'll go into the video description and post a link to the forums. Hopefully that will drive some traffic.

I really can't believe I've been a member here for like 5+ years and I can't get anyone to throw me a bone.

Thanks. I've had a lot of people say they are stuck waiting for a moderator to approve their existence.

Right now the other live action guy has 22 votes. I have 6, but one of the good in game videos also has 6. If I were Valve right now, and I had to choose two winners based on the votes, I would choose the one with the most votes (the other live action guy) and then the in game footage one for variety.

Hey guys, I'm getting killed by two other videos. I'm not sure how much the voting matters, but if you can get into the forums and get a vote out for me. It'll make some difference, I know that. Thanks to everyone who is trying to get in there and help. We'll find out today who wins, unless valve time (http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Valve_Time) kicks in. I'm actually hoping it does. I'm starting to think that they may have tried to contact me already if I was a winner. So far no youtube messages.
