..wow, I just realized as I was typing that title that it is complete gibberish if you don't know what I'm talking about. :P
Anyways, so, my DFI Lanparty JR died, and since I long ago mutilated and dismembered the NB/mosfet heatsink, I highly doubt the warranty is still in affect, plus I've gotten sick of having a second PCIe x16 slot that I can't really use since my waterblock is just a hair too thick.
So I went and got myself an Asus P5Q-D. It's a nice board, and not too expensive (if I ever mail this stupid MIR, it'll be $85, so not cheap, but not overly expensive). The one problem is that it has a very strange NB HS(/F) (fan is only supposed to be there if you're watercooling or using a passive HS on the CPU) that does not lend itself to any mounting system I know of (3.5" diag mount), especially when you find out what's underneath it!

Apparently Asus decided it would be a brilliant idea to put 2 chips under a single, giant, nonstandard heatsink.
So my question is:
1) Any ideas on what to do here for a waterblock aside from machining a custom one (which I have neither the skill nor equipment to do)?
2) Do you think it will be necessary? Yes, I know, heresy, but I do kinda want to get my computer working again, and I'm moving in a month, so I want to get it road-worthy asap.
