Hey guys

I have a saphire X700 256mb PCI-E and want to water cool it. I found this sweet water cooling set http://www.pcwatercoolingshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=80&osCsid=7f51c36b8fd0f49df98c47cbbe83d8f3 for $239 CAD. I want to know if this is a good kit to buy. I am unsure if the waterblock will fit properly. Obviously some blocks dont work on every card and i cant find any info on my card at all. Its not a hybrid x700 nor a pro.

Can i asume the mount locations would be the same as the X800?
Will this waterblock work for my card?

Compatibility ATI :
Radeon 9500, 9600, 9800, and X800 series (Excludes the All-In-Wonders) .

dotn spend that kinda money on a card that a 9800pro can run circles around. Use that money twoards a new card, unless you dont plan o upgrade, and just want like a htpc.

I allready own it. It came with my pc when i bought it. I am just courious about the compatability with the water cooling block.

I think what he means is don't waste the $240 on a water cooling systems for an out dated GPU.

I agree about spending all that money on watercooling a low-profile card.
In my view the money would be far better spenT on a nice 7600GT - the reviews say that its a great mid-range card and it's in your price range.
newegg have them for around 219 USD

I second that. Your money should be spent on a parts upgrade instead of useless cooling. Remember, PC technology dosen't sit idly. I'll be needing a holographic hard drive by end of this year, a PH-DVD drive (3x CAPACITY OF BLUE RAY) and a socket AM2 Athlon 64. BE AMAZED!

OK, let me run you all though my "great master plan"...

I am puschasing the watercooling kit as part of a case mod.
I have to purchase it soon because the seller is leaving for china for 4-5 months.

I have plans to purchase a better mobo, cpu, and vid card. i seen an intel pentium d oc'd to 6.8ghz on ebay for just over $500. I want to wait a month or two untill more of thoes deals show up and the prices drop a bit. I havent seen one single deal for an amd fx64 which is what i would prefer and hope that they show up on ebay aswell...

I only wanted to know if the waterblack was compatable with my x700 so i could use the watercooling system in the meantime. I hope to go sli since it seems crossfire is a let down. but all in due time.

I am not as rich as some of you appear to be. I dont have the funds to drop $1500 on a new system every 6 months. I have to give myself about a $100-150 MAX per month allowance for computer parts.

No its not free, its $236. I have this great idea of sticking the hugest radiator i can find into this ****ty old case i have laying around. It should look slick when im done.
