Alright, I'm trying to get my Q6600 to break 4ghz. Right now my ram is keeping me to 3.6 max before no post or reboots. I'm currently looking at these kits:

OCZ Reaper HPC 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2-1066 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227289)

G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2-1066 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231166)

Patriot Viper II 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2-1066 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820220426)

Patriot Gamer Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2-1066 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820220397)

G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2-1066 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231246)

They're all around the same price range, and all good brands. Anyone have any recommendations? I have 6GB of DDR2-800 right now. But now that I've got the P5E Deluxe from Trace it supports 1066 and 1200(OC), so I want to step it up a notch. I know I'll be losing 2GB, but according to Wn7 I'm typically using ~2GB at any given time, so I don't even need 6GB as it is.

i like patriot memory, i cant really say a lot for their OC potential because Ive never tried with any of their memory, always at clock speeds for customer builds.

dont go for the patriot viper unless your mobo supports it. On my non supported gigabyte board i had to run it at 800 to get it stable, on my friend's asus and supported board we were able to get the ram up to 11xx mhz with no problem.

The Reaper seems to be good memory. The person in Brazil that buys lots of what is usually expensive, high-end hardware from me buys both Reaper and Viper, though.

I've got my G Skill RiPJAW DDR3-1600 @ DDR3-1800 w/o any problems, you've just got to manually set the timings up for it to work alright.
