Thanks to ozzylow for the inspiration. Sorry bro, I have to one up you on this.

Primer coat applied. 32GB thumb drive internals with protective electrical tape layer. I decided to paint the grenade body black with the handle red. I decided to use a thumb drive that I already had to save a few $$

What about internalizing it all and running a usb extension through the fuse area of the handle on a second version... just a thought.

i know pull the pin let the spoon go and out pops the usb that would be AWESOME... dont quite know how youd pull it off but sounds cool

Definatly made it better then my previous attempt. I ended up scrapping mine, was not happy with it in the end. Wish i could get the same one asyou and build something from it.

How much did that cost you

It was about $8 at a local surplus store. I've since mofidied the usb grenade concept and incorporated an inert 40mm one (you can see it in my 2TB NAS ammo can build)
