Looking at amazon.com, the going rate for used ones is 115-150 depending on brand/ram size etc.

is it a substansial upgrade from a 9800gt? or would i be better going with a 5770? (offer on the table is $100 ATM

according to that the 260 is a step up from the 9800gt...

I believe the 5770 would be a better buy though.

this comparison (http://www.gpureview.com/show_cards.php?card1=568&card2=615) doesn't help too much, but it does say that the core clock and mem clock on the 5770 will be a lot better, plus I am pretty sure the 260 isn't dx11 compatible.

yay! now for other questions... anyone have a 650 watt PSU that they can let go cheap? i have a 550w running an amd athalon2x2, (will be running a 260, we came to an agreement) a pump, 2 hdd's and 5 fans. i dont know if that's safe, and im scared that ill blow my 550 (ill be upgrading to an a2x4 around santa season) and im also worried that a cheap new 1 will backfire on me
