Well, as Jay Leno said, "It's better to come back to your wife reeking of transmission fluid than cheap perfume." :D

Good luck finding the...is that a Lancia?

1992 Lancia Delta, and to bozo you show me another truck that you can drive to the track, run 10s and 30 lbs of boost and then drive on back home and never have to top off the tank. The rabbit truck is just a beast, and every ugly duckling has a mother.

As far as finding a Lacia Delta in the Americas there is a place in Canadathat has done some conversions making them legal even in the states. Almost bought one about 12 yrs back, life however had other ideas. My current lustmobile is an Autralian Ford Falcon XB. :D Road Warrior anyone. ;)

You mean the one with the fake turbo charger that could be turned off and on at will on a high compression engine.

here you go :D Bank's Sidewinder S10. 7.0L Twin-turbo stroker Duramax. Pulled it's own trailer to the track, proceeded to smash the NHRDA diesel record (ran a 7.77 @180mph in the 1/4), then pull it's own trailer back home :D (same engine pictured above)

I don't know why your wife says she wouldn't ride in any of them. I mean, personally, I wouldn't want to be in the beetle, but that's because I'm tall so little cars can be annoying. Other than that, it's all good.

That's a sick diesel...and I've never seen slow-mo video of the torque on the tires like that. It's amazing that they can get more than one run out of those.

I'll bet the trailer was just barrels of fuel...which they burned through on the way home.:D

lol probably @ the trailer full of fuel. although, there was ZERO black smoke...which means that engine was tuned perfectly. I love how people think it's so cool when some clown in his truck blows a cloud of black smoke

black smoke = too much fuel. tune it down or buy a bigger turbo and quit wasting $$ lmao :whistler:

There's somebody that drives to school in a big pickup truck with a Cummins diesel with the vertical exhaust, and that thing puts out TONS of black smoke. He thinks he's something special, and doesn't really use it for heavy loads or anything similar.

Don't worry chances are he'll crash it by the time he leaves school

and theres a 7/10 chance it'll be involved in a roll over accident.

but yet he'll still have to pay it off, or the majority of it.

Plus, imagine what his insurance premiums will be like then. :P

Ugh, insurance premiums...the horror....

I was actually quite pleasantly surprised this past year when I went off my parents' plan...same exact coverage and my premiums actually went down ~$200/year! :D Part of that, iirc, was because I actually benefit from the 5% discount for also insuring a motorcycle with the same company (instead of my parents), but still, I was expecting it to shoot up quite a bit.

No motorcycle for me, just the car.
