Nice and compact, and it offers full 6-degree-of-motion control. Think Novint Falcon-style axial control, with a rotating ball in the middle for rotational control. All in a much smaller, more compact unit. I don't think it has the level of force-feedback that the Falcon does, but for CAD style work, I think this would be amazing. Anyone who has ever tried to rotate a 3D model with a 2D mouse knows what I'm talking about. :dead:

looks like it'd be useful for professional modelers but other than that, just a space waster. I got my basic 3D animation "certification" in high school and that class was beyond boring. 20 hours of work for 30 seconds of amateur animation. Zzzzz

PS: I just realized that "amateur" isn't spelled "amature."
