I have just one complaint about all of these boards. and its a con on my gigabyte motherboard too. putting your sata ports where a long video card will cover them is a POOR DESIGN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!! until recently (getting a 9inch card) 3 of my 5 sata ports were covered by this poor design feature. [/rant] if anyone here is in contact with gigabyte you should let them know that at least 2 90* sata ports are a must if the GPU will interfere with the accessibility to the sata connections, or just move the sata connectors so that a double slot card wont block them.

other than that... maybe gigabyte will send me one of those smexy black mobos for my pain and suffering? :D

From what I can see, worst case scenario, there MIGHT be an issue with some of the ports IF you use TWO extra-long cards in the PC. All three boards will still have at least 4 ports clear though, and there's a pretty good chance that, using 90 degree SATA cables, you'd be able to access the other port(s) as well.

Well just so you guys know, Gigabyte is listening. I just got a message about this very thread. They are taking the SATA port suggestions into consideration.

This is why Gigabyte is getting my money for the next board I buy.

If they keep putting Black PCB out ill be all over them from now on!! Good to know that they are listening. The ports shouldnt be an issue if you have just one card, but i know that i always try to build my pc's with an SLI upgrade option. if i can find pics of the problem i had before with it if it would help them out.

@Gigabyte - keep the awesome mobos rollin, keep in touch with the community, and ill be sure to keep investing in you. side note, AM3 Black PCB Mobo?'

Found a picture those top 3 ports are completely blocked.

@Gigabyte - any chance of a white/green mobo for a sweet custom build I have planned? :D

I sent an email the other day but haven't heard anything yet :D

My last two (fantastic) motherboards have both been gigabyte and they've both been fantastic. However, both have been really plain - for my new PC, I've been almost tempted to get an ASUS just because it isn't blue...

white PCB would be something new and fresh on the PC market, i've seen almost every color PCB but white.

it'd sure look sweet with some CCFL's glowing on it.
