$0.10 - Age of Empires III

GFWL store has Age of Empires III for $0.10 today Only.

One thing to note is that it uses the GFWL app/account to download. I'll have to wait until its downloaded to see if I can get a set of files to backup to my server. Having to use the app and download it onto each computer, and actually remember I have the game would be annoying, but for $0.10 I'll try it.


EDIT: Tinker is also free if you search for that game. Not sure what it is about, but it's free. 60MB
EDIT2: You can backup the cab files if you use the GFWL client to do the download/install. Then when you want to reinstall you just put the cab files back into the temp download folder, and it will find them. This is a moot point for people who can/want to just redownload them through GFWL.

EDIT: you can also pay in xbox live credits. heh. I no longer have 200 xbox points that were worthless to me. (got tinker, bioshock, and aoe 3 for 2 bucks. not bad at all!) +rep

I probably should have listed Bioshock as well. I didn't grab it as I've had it for a while, since one of the D2D sales a while back. Fun game though, and for $1.99 a must buy if you don't have it. I noticed the points thing, but I didn't have any on that account so I didn't pay it much mind.

EDIT: I haven't played it yet, but from what I gather AOEIII they are selling is the complete edition with the two expansion packs.

EDIT2: Also looks like you can just extract the setup files from the .cab. This worked with Tinker, haven't tried with AOEIII.

Grrr... the stupid GFW client keeps crashing on me in XP. Downloaded the hotfix and everything. *sigh* I need to get a new hdd already so I can put win7 on there. (although I doubt that its XP that is the problem.)

Well it appears they have run out of KEYS! I bought but, they haven't assigned me a key yet. They will be assigning keys over the next week for those that have purchased it, so you can still buy for a dime, but you will have to wait for a key.

This was the best find of the year in my opinion. I bought it last night for .10 cents. Got my key this afternoon and just spent 6 hours playing. My eyes are tired. It's things like this that make me happy I am part of this community, oh and +rep.
