that is one of the potential uses I had in mind, another being a neat device to hook to my oil tank monitor for my heat, so I can check it without having to go in the basement. although, my workshop is in the basement, so it'll still be fun to try lol

I usually idle in #sparkfun and #sparkfun-discuss. But I was active the entire night (The event started at 3AM for me... and I saw it end at 5:07AM without being able to submit the answer to my first question)

Bummer man. I had to work really hard to get the 3 I got.
I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall in the IT dept during this.

My favorite quote was from a sparkfun employee's twitter. "I think if I go into IT right now and ask "how's it going" that they'll throw something at me"
