But it's a special price, marked down from $239! I mean, c'mon, how do you even put a price on a.... "lovesac" *snicker

Still expensive, but more reasonably priced and very high quality (imo) is the Sumo bag.

Does the blonde come with it?

You can always go all out and replace your bed with this: http://www.fombag.com/product.asp?p=1&s=8fombag&c=367 (8')

I wonder if it's because of a special type of filling or something? I remember buying cheap bean bags when I was younger and they totally sucked. They went flat within two weeks. I suppose the higher end bean bags don't do that because of their higher quality filling.

I wonder how much it would cost to just do it yourself? It can't be that difficult unless you don't know anything at all about sewing or cutting cloth so that it forms the correct shape. Then all you need is to fill it. That... just doesn't seem very difficult at all.

I've seen a youtube video about making your own beanbag chair but personally I'd rather have a professional bag than something I may mess up since I can't sew. lol

a lovesac isn't a beanbag chair. find a store and sit in one, you'll love it :D

It'd be less expensive to buy some cloth and rent a tailor (or buy a sewing machine if you're manly enough to figure out how the hell those crazy things work). Plastic pellets are cheap, or those annoying styrofoam peanut things you can never get rid of, or plastic bubble wrap, oh yeah.

lovesac's aren't beanbags, they're not filled with plastic or anything of the like. it's almost a memory foam-type kinda stuff. once you've sat on a lovesac nothing else compares :D

Not even simple inflatable air?

Not even simple inflatable air?

That doesn't compare at all. A great bean bag chair and an inflatable couch are almost polar opposites.

One is soft, squishy and comfortable. It conforms to you so it's almost like it was made just for you. And if you get a velvet one instead of leather, plastic or pleather, it's comfortable to sit on regardless of what you're wearing or what you're not wearing. It's also relatively warm, unlike inflatable cushions.

The other is just like a regular couch except hard and uncomfortable in comparison. It also sticks to bare skin and is relatively cold since it's just thin plastic filled with air. It's easily movable, but that's mostly a bad thing except for the rare instances where you want to rearrange your living room. The only positive with an air filled couch is their cost effectiveness. However when money isn't a problem, just about any alternative is better.

lol, I'd rather get a cheaper furniture and spend my money (which is always a "problem" to be conscious about) on something else like a new Lian-Li case. That's just me.
