im thinking about trading my macbook for an mx11

im talking to a guy about trading my macbook for an mx11, what does everyone think? its a smaller screen, higher resolution, and i can finally stop dealing with the HFS vs NTFS b****ing match that has been my life so far. Good trade?

i5, 335m, 320gb HDD, 4gb ram

im working on it... hes selling to build a desktop though. lol. so far i've upped the offer to the mac, a copy of cs4 (legal and everything), a 320 gb HDD for his desktop, and a fan controller. (and my expertiese)

How much is each device currently worth? Macs are generally easier to sell because of their desirability. Theyre also generally worth more than Windows based PCs.

Edit: But then again, Alienware is the pricey option of the PC world. The Alienware is probably worth more in this case. Maybe tempt him with cold hard cash?

sadly, the deal fell through, but im glad i met him, as he sent me his parts list and had a LOT of issues with it... he probably would have had a lot of RMA's to fill out...
