Ok, you have to admit it is funny as hell when a teacher (or gym coach) NEEDS you to fix their computer issues when the IT department fails.

Guess where I am now?

Im in my local school's gymnasium fixing a printer issue on the coachs' pc.

The best is when the class is looking to you five minutes before the teacher gives up in frustration and asks if anyone in the class can fix it.

A decade or so ago, I was working on getting a Degree in IT & Education - and one of my lecturers would regularly send other students my way when they had a problem he couldn't quite figure out - does that count??

@slaveofconvention: Yes it counts. Not as a student but as a teacher-> teacher.
