Okay, I'm looking for ideas...

This is my existing case:

One big mother of an aluminum case...

And the stats (WARNING- Marketing speak below...)

Stylish, durable 1.2mm anodized aluminum
Swiveling front control panel swivels up to 45 degrees.
Connectors: 2 x USB 2.0, 1 x IEEE 1394 (FireWire, i.Link) and 2 x audio jacks.
LED temperature display with two built-in sensors
Removable motherboard tray.
Accomodates any ATX12V power supply
10 total drive bays with color-coordinated CD-ROM & floppy drive covers
4 external 5.25" bays
2 external, 4 internal 3.5" bays
Rubber mounting grommets in hard drive trays
1 x 120mm low speed fan included in rear with built-in washable air filter
1 additional 120mm fan mount in front
Removable Side Panel
Fits motherboards up to Standard ATX
Supports up to 7 expansions slots
Dimensions: 20.3" x 19.7" x 8.1"

I think a window would be good, the cutout should prolly fit around the two latches at top since they are reasonably attractive. I would like to work on the front bezel a bit as well. Perhaps remove the three long vents for one large vent? Get rid of the stupid a$$ floppy bay with some bondo and hard work and maybe give the front bezel a nice midnight metallic blue?

The rest I'll leave reasonably simple, replace some fans, put in brighter l.e.d.s, add wiring sleaves for the newly installed window, etc.

The other idea would be to put a sandwhich of uv acrylic between the long vents and the front panel so the edges would light... just random musings...

Any other ideas?

[Edit]Btw, this will be my first real mod, although I have a lot of fabbing and painting experience on other projects. Wanna "get my feet wet" so to speak before I go on to my idea for my scratch-built
