Nice, I'll be interested to see what the financial results are...hopefully it'll go further to prove our point that you can make money without being a [insert expletive of choice here].

BTW, if any of you haven't played Braid yet, pick that up. Very interesting platformer...hard too, I never figured out a few of the levels, tbh.

If Machinarium is what I think it is (website is blocked from here...stupid filters.. -_^), I'll definitely pick that up.

IIRC it is made by the guy/team that made the Samarost games, which were fun for what they were.

There's a counter on the main page. Today was the first day as far as I know, and it's already at $300k. Granted it is split up between the devs, the site, and the charities.

Nice! It is the game I was remembering. They had a demo on their website a while ago but I couldn't be bothered to actually pay for the rest of it... :whistler: And they're all Linux compatible!? AWESOME! Yes, I am definitely doing this. :D

EDIT:
I just noticed the payment breakdown between OSs (I'm guessing pulled from browser agents). Linux is almost twice the average! :D I like to think that says something good about the people who use it. :whistler:

EDIT2:
MD5 hashes for the downloads! And automatically giving me links to Linux executables! I love this place!

..ok, off to play Machinarium. :D

I didn't pay a ton, I should probably have paid more. They got around to giving steam codes for the first bundle, which is sweet. I hope they do it for the second.

I love Machinarium. It's a game that makes you think, so you better enjoy using your brain. ;)

I pretty much emptied my paypal. Not that there was a lot in there but it was quite a bit above the windows average.

Notch, the creator of Minecraft, donated $2k. That's pretty cool.
