LOL - I think OvRiDe is going to be laptop-less too - I have a spare one I may be bringing along - it isn't a powerhouse like these from Lenovo but its more than enough for what we need for non-video content - scores a 3.4 (I think) under windows 7 so not a slouch

Well, if The Boss comes laptopless I suppose he gets his choice. I don't care, they both look awesome.

I dunno if you want to carry around the big one. It weighs about 10lbs and is 2" thick x 19" wide x 12" long. But they are for all of us to use as we need them.

I love it. Who needs dinky little netbooks anyway?? Portable desktops FTW!
Niiice! The W700 series has always intrigued me. I'll be interested to hear how much use the extra screen actually gets.
..so...do you have to give them back afterwards? :whistler:

Yes unfortunately we will have to return them, I will be reviewing both after we get back from CES, so if there is anything you would like to know just shoot me a pm and I will do my best to cover it.

Very nice machines. Just do a good thorough review before they go back and it'll be all good.

This one is more than likely an intel or lenovo branded one.

I'm glad I checked this thread again before posting my own "Look what I got in the mail today!" thread. Those laptops are far more interesting than the sheet of plexi I got. Sad that they have to go back in the end but I'll be looking forward to the reviews especially for that extra screen.

No man post your plexi thread. Making something with your own hands is way more interesting than 2 factory built laptops.

Clearly photoshopped. I can tell by the pixels.

It will be a while before I get to it but I will post a thread when I try etching it. I'm trying to behave until exams are done but once that happens I've got a lot of projects to do.

Awesome! I love me some good old fashion etchings.

I didn't see this thread until the answer to "guess what's in the Box?" was posted. I knew it wasn't a body...dimensions were totally wrong.
Nice set of laptops. Pity you have to return them. I hope everyone who gets to go has a great time at CES.
