I am modernising my linux box from its current K6 fueled state, and currently have at my disposal a socket 775 motherboard and a socket 478 CPU, with RAM for both.

If you've a spare a socket 775 CPU, I'd consider any but would prefer a P4 HT or high clocked Celeron D rather than one of the more lowly single cores. If you've anything better on offer, of course, I'll consider that too.

If you've a spare socket 478 mobo, I need it to be matx and a decent overclocker, but other than that anything's fair game.

I'm not looking to break the bank or pay for your Christmas here, just pay for shipping and pass on a couple of pounds (or more for exceptional item ofc) for your trouble.

For shipping cost estimate purposes, I'm in the UK and my postcode is SP10.

Thanks.

Awesome... I see you're on the far side of the Atlantic, but I've PMd you.

However, I fear that the shipping would be more than the item's worth.

If it's shipped first class mail international, shipping to you should be under $5 for just a CPU

it's looking to be about $14 for USPS priority small flat rate box, or first class mail international package for around $8

the small priority box is the same as first class. If you want tracking, you're best off having it shipped registered first class for an extra $11.50 (paper tape required on seals, no plastic tape allowed), although I've never had anything that I sent to the UK get lost.

Thanks all - but I think I have something sorted. Appreciate the offer anyhow.
