In my department at work. I've been there less than 3 months too.

I currently hold the one day department record for most dollars made (for the store) by a single employee at $11,088. Last month I also set a new department record for the most dollars made (for the store) by a single employee in 1 fiscal month at $118,000.

I was out of work for 3 months prior to this and needless to say, I'm doing quite well now.

Sounds like they need to give you a raise!

Micro Center pays on commission, so I guess he would get more money than most of the other people if he sells more.

That's a good thing!

I've noticed that I haven't been selling any replacement plans, so I've been stepping it up. Over the last week I sold 38!

lol when I went there to get my XFX 6870 the guy was trying to sell me a replacement plan. I was like "dude, it's got a lifetime warranty from XFX. I'm not spending extra for your warranty." then he just kinda put it on the counter and left

On the card I would buy a warranty. Let's see, if it breaks for you:

You have to contact XFX, wait for an RMA number, mail it (at your expense), then wait a couple of weeks for it to arrive. You may even get a refurb too.

With the plan:

You pull it out of your system, come to the store and hand in the old one. Then you walk to the isle to grab a brand new one (in box) and go home to iinstall it. In and out in ten minutes.

Hmmmm...

I think Micro Center wins.

I'd rather be out for however long it takes and pay the minimal shipping costs (UPS would be fairly inexpensive to a commercial address) than pay for the replacement plan. The brand is pretty reliable, and it probably wouldn't break, anyway. Micro Center being a long (around a half hour one way) doesn't help my case, either. But then again, I sent my bad motherboards back to foxconn three times, until they gave me a different model without bulging capacitors, where most people would have just tossed the 2 year old board and got something else.

It does seem like you're good at selling them, though.
