Like the title says. I'm looking for someone who knows of a good company that does laser or standard engraving on acrylic. I'd love to have the internal engraving done (like those cubes you see at the mall), but I'mnot sure if it's possible with a 3mm sheet of acrylic. If not, standard engraving (laser or mechanical) will be fine. I'm looking for a compnay to contact for the Arctic Cat project I've got going. Thanks in advance!

Try Danger Den - I know they do a lot of acrylic cutting, and they may be able to do engraving too, not sure.

Drop TechDaddy a line - I know he knew someone who did it as he has a moon and wolf engraved into a sheet of perspex. As for internal engraving, consider getting the back side engraved then putting a second sheet back to back with it - might get you the effect you're after if you can't get it internally etched.... If you're going to go with that, you might consider 2mm plexi so the total thickness isn't too big

Depending on what you need engraved, I can do it for pretty cheap at the university. I say depending on what you need engraved because if it doesn't look academic they might turn me away, but it's worth a shot.

If I recall correctly, he was able to get Zapwizzard to etch it on the Versalaser he won from The Screen Savers modding contest on Tech TV. From what I have heard the Versalaser is now out of commission. :( But he may have other avenues available now. He did mention Refocus Laser Engraving (http://www.refocuslaser.com/) in the past but I am not sure if he ever got around to using them.
