My gawd this thing is amazing.

It's only been out of the packaging for 5 minutes or so, so I haven't dove to much into it but so far it's the sexiest, most comfortable mouse I've ever owned.

The Coolermaster Sentinel. It has an OLED display that shows your DPI settings, on the fly DPI modes of course, 8 LED color selections, adjustable weight, oh and on the OLED display, you can design your own logo. It's also smooth as butter! It's almost too smooth! It's going to take a little getting used to after my ~3 or 4 year old G5

This mouse also has quite a few buttons and software that allows you to run scripts through them. 3 round burst pistols and 180 spins in BFBC2 here I come!!

PS: I paid $50 shipped.

fancy. i bought one of those intellimouse things. and i absolutely hate it. the stupid thing middle clicks on right click and right clicks on middle clicks at the same time. so half my games do the wrong stuff. need to get a new mouse. so stupid.

anyway, that's a rad one, very nice!

That is one impressive mouse. Wireless by chance?

@Lothair - Wired only, the only way for a gaming mouse.

Mouse looks good, I just don't know if it is good enough to give up my G5. Is it any larger than the G5 or is it the same size? I have a hard time with the side buttons on mine because my hands are so large.

I have found with that much customization comes lazyness. I don't always want to change my mouse and normally I just set it and forget it. I don't even think I have the drivers installed on my G5.

The G5 was perfect for my hands and this was is even more comfortable except for one button.

I think it'll just take a little getting used to having two buttons there instead of the one on the G5.

EDIT: Also no side to side buttons on the scroll wheel. No biggy, I never used them anyways... like you, I rarely had the drivers installed.

Well I dont know about that. The Mamba and Orochi are both wired/wireless and are fantastic gaming mice. Tad bit more than $50 though.

I'd say wired is the way to go if you can't afford more than $50. I wouldn't say it's the way to go however.

They should give it a detachable cord, that would be slick!

Ya, I almost picked up the SideWinder but I thought it was ugly as hell... It also seems to be made for those that palm the entire mouse. I usually rest my palm on the pad and use the tips of my fingers to maneuver the mouse and such.

Yea same here, actually. I did get the Sidewinder X6 Keyboard though. Pretty happy with it.
