Well after the storms rolled through here this morning and we got power back I realized that my media center wouldn't display anything. This thing has been running almost non stop for about 5 years and is the same when I built it except for a motherboard and proc upgrade about a year ago.
After some quick troubleshooting I couldn't figure it out so I began a complete teardown. Looking specifically at the PS since the power issues this morning I found that the 4 pin connector had black residue on it. Thankfully I pulled out a power supply replacement and everything booted right up :banana:.
Problem is the wires were too short to fit in the case, an Antec Fusion. So I have to put my mod on hold for my Antec 300 and put all the media center stuff in it but at least I won't get yelled at because we have no TV.
