Hey all.. i just wanted to post a couple quick pics of the 2 comps i quick threw together for my fiance younger brothers. each of these cases only took me a couple nights to complete, and i cant say i took too much time perfecting them. plain and simple, but, nicer than stock i though.

i plan to post the worklog for the second one.

the first one (i lost all other pics of due to my instalation of xp64 bit edition and back to xp pro) was just an old deskpro case. had to cut out one expansion slot higher for the video card to fit, and finding a psu that had the buttons and fan on the right sides where my only problems. other than that, few coats of flat black paint inside and out, couple led bubble tubes, windowed side some nice brushed aluminum accents and some nicely tucked away wiring, and it was done.

now im just really annoyed that i lost ALL the other pics i had, because i did have a full worklog and some nice high def pics. these ones just dont do any justice.

But anyway, then off to this one. which was made for the "wifes" other brother. One of these days im gonna post my half a** worklog for it, but till then... this is where its at. Did almost the same thing to this case as the other one, and it houses the indentical components also.

I realized i only have one pic of the front bezel before sand and paint. its not even attached to the case.....

the only dif with this case and the other one i built, was i didnt take the time to cut a window in or sleeve/clean up/manage the wiring. the guy had to have it by friday, and that left me with only 3 after work days from start to finish. damn i hate rush jobs......

just a quick shot of the gay sides that came with the "generic/internet ready" case i picked up for 30 bucks CAD

and then finally the finished project. i was really happy with the way this case turned out. let me know what you guys think.... considering it cost me about 10 bucks CAD to change it from stock to modded.

If you cant tell, i replaced the red and green leds with blue for hdd activity and power, and behind the fan housing of the front bezel installed 2 Led bubbles tubes which can run solid or at 7 different funky modes. light up really nice at night.

not bad for quick jobs i guess....they probably would have loved a window.

Looks like there's a fair bit of room inside left for a good cpu/ graphics chiller. some cool pipe work too. Not bad at all for a quick chuck together. Nice
