Just thought id share my pride and joy 8) so here she is

http://rides.webshots.com/album/572311499TBvXmP?start=0

Thought I'd just post the link to my album. Ive had my car since I was 14. since then Ive had to replace both quarter panels, both fenders, all four fender wells, the hood, and a piece of the fire wall. Currently it has a 350SBC under the hood backed by a built TH350 with a 12 bolt and Chromeoly Moser axles. Its lowered 2" in front and 1" in back, with Energy Suspension Poly urethane bushings. The interior has been restored to original style, with Buckets from a 1971 SS, and the center console from a '72 SS. The color is a custom mixed Blue with custom stripes.

At the moment I'm planning a new motor build for her. The plan so far is a 496 Stroker with about 800hp

hope you like it :)

MMMM! I LOVE Chevelles.

I really miss my '69. That was my favorite car of all time. Too bad it was destroyed in a hail storm...

I like the progress. Keep the pictures coming.

Thanks :)

This is what my family does for a living, we build custom cars. My stepdad has a 1957 Bel Air that's won 5 awards so far. That one is a full out show car that is still driven. Its got a Ramjet 502 BBC/T56 in it on bags and a full custom dyed and hand picked ostrich skin and leather interior, its pearl blue with a pearl white roof.

I love the older cars and have been looking t a company that will take your old ride and convert it to electric. Of course I would never ruin any classic that way...

Haha, Ill see if I can dig up a few pics of the '57. I love what I do and wouldn't trade it for anything. I'm thinking about applying some of my skills to my mod that I'm starting. 8)

Didn't realize we had so many car nuts in here.

I myself am a huge musclecar guy. I've owned over 150 cars. My hobby was restoring and modifying classic cars until I discovered computers.

I just sold an all original 64 Malibu SS Convertible, 67 Malibu 2dr HT, 68 Camaro, 67 Camaro, and a 64 Malibu hard top.

I currently have a 69 SS396 Chevelle w/468 cid in super bright yellow w/ black interior. Oh and a 73 El camino I just picked up w/ 57,000 original miles to do a easy resto on. Oh and I have a 71 Chevelle just about ready for paint.

We must see moar pics of your car and any others!!8)

The only way that'd be better is if you said a roller 302...

Tell him you WILL build the 6BT. 12-Valve P-Pump. Little tuning at it will run like bat out of hell. Probably swap the rear axle out for more beef. HO72 would be a good option for a more factory style.

Thats what I told him, I'd change the fuel plate, tweak the pump, run some 4" exhaust, Airaid intake, and possibly a bigger hair dryer, and the rear I was thinking a D60, with some 4.11's and some beefy axles would fit in just nicely.

Here is a pic with the '57 show car and our '55 project car, the '57 is running a Ramjet 502 BBC/T56, shortened 9" out back with 4.11s, mini tubbed 3" the whole frame was powder coated silver, the underside of the body was color matched and bed linered, the interior is 8way power seats from a Lexus, Focal 12 speaker 2400watt stereo. It has one Best Ride on Intros, Staff Pick, and one more I can't remember from Goodguys Rod and Customs, as well as Judges Pick from the Altamont Cruisers Nostalgia Day, and Best 50's from the Stockton County Car show.

The '55 is completely original with no rust, the motor is a 265 V-8 with a 4bbl on top, and a 3 on the tree, the 56yr old original motor still runs but smokes a bit as you can see in the picture....The plans for this one include either a 283sbc or a TPI 305 and 5speed from a 87 IROC Camaro.

Yep. I used to drive a '97 Cummins. It was a father/son project. we replaced the fuel plate, new Gov springs, 320hP injectors, upgraded turbo wheels, manual waste gate, straight 5", and the killer dowel pin fix. The factory 47RE didn't last all that long. :D I'm wanting to do a manual swap after my truck is done if I can do it for less then the cost of a semi-built 47Re build.

The reason I said the HO72 was for more of a stock look. The only bad thing would be the gearing thought. 60 would still be mean. As long as you stay away from the *yawn* 9".

Hey cool.

I just got in the house from spending about 4 hours just lining up the doors to be perfect. Found rust free doors and deck lid from another car. Let the alignment fun begin.

Complete doors with panels, glass, and hardware, plus a perfect deck lid = $250

We had skinned one of the original doors with an import skin and lets just say it fit like an import skin. Not good.
