I'd rather a GTX560 to be honest ;P

but look on the bright side, it'll double as a space heater like the rest of the fermi's do :D

Actually the GTX460 (the model before the GTX560) didn't have the heating problems because it was a different design than the GF100 core (which would have been great during winter!). And also, the GTX560 has lower temps than the GTX460 :P

I don't see this as a disadvantage. I only need 2 maybe 3 monitors. Currently, I have one ;P

Have a 460 sitting in my computer on loan from a friend... idle temp is ~45-50, gaming temps is ~50-55, kind of neat i thought

my 6870 OC'd to 950/1100 (from 900/1050 stock) idles @ 50ºC with the stock cooler. I've read that taking it apart and replacing the TIM helps a lot though, so I may do that

It definitely helped a lot with the last card I did that on...though, that was a Radeon X800 XT, so not exactly current.. :P

Helped TONS with my 5770 (OC'd 1011/1335mhz [800/1000 stock] )

I used Artic Silver Ceramique though, it's sorta cheating when using that stuff.
