Alright, this next item needed its own post. This is the Amazing Mystery Bag! This has a bunch of stuff in it that alone does not justify the shipping cost, but together makes a pretty nice bundle. What's in it you ask? That's a mystery! I'm going to do this auction style starting now and ending in one week. There's a minimum of $5 so I can break even on shipping. The bag currently weighs somewhere between 5-8 lbs.

I received the box today containing the contents of the Amazing Mystery Bag. Here's what all I got: (and yes, I know I posted this over in Latest Purchase, too.)

Let's see...there are 3 comic books (2 Jango Fett, 1 Batman), a VHS entitled entitled Dirty Ho (it's a kung-fu flick; get your mind out of the gutter), an Express Monopoly card game, a sweet multitool, a flashlight, 5 pocket folding knives, a miniature rapier (that's begging to be a part of a future mod), a pocket screwdriver with 2 different bits, a Microsoft laptop mouse, a 25' tape measure, an Electric Dance Floor 94 CD, and a Namco TV Games Controller/Console.

There are also 2 devices, identified as an Olympia Soundbug and a GI Link, which I have no idea what they are for. Would you mind enlightening me?

The link thing is a radio transmitter. You plug it into your mp3 player and then tune into the selected station on the radio. It's like a cheap man's wireless music streamer.

The Soundbug is a transducer. Plug that into your mp3 player and then put the suction cup part onto a flat surface like a table or window and it will turn that object into a half decent speaker.

Here's another bump. School is starting this month, and despite the fact that I'm married and my wife and I really don't make that much money, I'm not getting any Pell grants.

Not only that but I'm declining the Western Undergrad Exchange scholarship for this year so that next year I can get in state tuition.

It all really sucks and at this point I'm really questioning whether or not I ever recommend to my kids that they go to college. I think they would be better off starting a business and building its wealth over those four years. Haha.

Is the Flip the 1hr or 2hr model?

It's the 2hr. I've attached the lens adapter ring to it and used it (for like an hour total). I also modified the box so that the Flip fits with the adapter ring on it. But other than that it's still pretty much how I got it, refurb and perfect condition.

here's what i remember: L4d stickers and shirt, wifi antenna, some random cables, 7 port Belkin USB hub, duct tape wallet with a 2$ bill in it, LOTR key chain, Pirates of the Caribbean key chain, case fan that looks like it went on the front of the case, some smaller case fans, magic fire pouch, a little multi-tool, and that's ll i can recall offhand.
