Project: Storm Shadow
http://www.pcmodhouse.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/.pond/shadow.jpg.w560h373.jpg
So, time for a GI Joe mod. The victim case is the Raidmax Blackstorm (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811156250), even though this one is clearly white.

My favorite part is how the case butterflies open
http://www.pcmodhouse.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/p1060961.jpg
The first thing I had to do was remove the blue trim to paint
http://www.pcmodhouse.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/p1060978.jpg
Then I cut out that hideous honeycomb wannabe mesh
http://www.pcmodhouse.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/p1060980.jpg
I painted the trim with a white plastic primer
http://www.pcmodhouse.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/p1060982.jpg
And then red. You'll see that red and white will be a common theme here
http://www.pcmodhouse.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/p1060983.jpg
Once it dried I put it back in bezel
http://www.pcmodhouse.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/p1060986.jpg
I've had these red LED case feet that I've been meaning to use
http://www.pcmodhouse.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/p1060988.jpg
http://www.pcmodhouse.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/p1060990.jpg
Next is the window. I just had to draw out a rough shape to cut
http://www.pcmodhouse.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/p1060987.jpg
And I didn't follow that path at all
http://www.pcmodhouse.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/p1060995.jpg
I added this cool graphic to the window
http://www.pcmodhouse.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/p1060996.jpg
Mounting the window was easy because I used the latches that held the previous side vent in place
http://www.pcmodhouse.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/p1060998.jpg
And there it is. Cool
http://www.pcmodhouse.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/p1070002.jpg
The panel is back in place, but the blue drive latches look stupid
http://www.pcmodhouse.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/p1070005.jpg
I just had to paint the drive bay covers
http://www.pcmodhouse.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/p1070006.jpg
Now to the fix the front intake
