Some of you may already know about this but I did not. AutoDesk has free downloads of all its software for students. It took me less than two minutes to register and confirm the email. No hoops, but I did use my University email account.

It looks like it is all their software, and it is a three year extended license.

Yeah, if you have a student email address this is pretty darn awesome. I've been using their stuff for my architecture classes, but they also have software used in the gaming industry, which is really sweet.

3DS Max and now Maya in addition to a couple other programs.

It's nice that they extended the license to 3 years. It used to be 3 months when I did this. I had to go out and buy a couple copies of 3DS Max.:(

Yeah, tis too bad that there's no schoolofhardknocks.edu. I know I'd have an email address or two there.

Wait a second....

It's three years per program per version!

Thus, if you keep up upgrading....

See the logic I've got here????
