When we were in Vegas for CES, OvRiDe, blueonblack and myself visited the NZXT / ibuypower suite. During that visit, OvRiDe and blueonblack mentioned that they loved their phantoms. I commented that I did not have a phantom to love. When the ibuypower guy heard this, he said that he would send me their newest Chimera XLC III. It's a NZXT phantom with and awesome water transfer paint job. The coolest thing about this case is that I will be the only person with one who did not purchase a pre configured system inside it! When it arrives I will post some shots but for now these stockers will have to do!

Well today I got the email asking for my shipping information. I am pretty excited and can't wait for it to get here.

Nice, a buddy of mine has the normal version of that case. It's a great case, the paint job definitely kicks it up a notch.

These photos do not do it justice. In person the black was very deep and the water transfer had that deep vibrant 3d feel about it. It was like the sides of the case really were melting and cracking open.

So what should I do with it? I do have a spare AM3 motherboard and some ram I can put in it. Should I put her to use, or put it in my collection of awesome cases?

Wow...just wow. I can't wait for better shots (you have a decent camera right? :P)

Aside from the paintjob, I love the phantom. I have a white one for my secondary pc.

...Jealousy...rising...must...contain...phew! That is a case with which to inspire both shock & awe. I salute you on your recent acquisition, and should you be unable to determine what to do with it, I would gladly take that burden off your hands.;)

Seriously, though, that is a sweet version of an already amazing case. I'm still saving up for my Phantom.

All this and almost all my machines are in boxes for lack of cases? For shame.

Collection of awesome cases? Is it wrong to be kinda jealous?

Well my collection is a tiny bit smaller than you guys think. I only have a Thermaltake Armor + (in pieces), Armor A90 (donating to PLAR once he settles in) Armor A60, Cooler Master HAF X, Cooler Master Storm Sniper (pre black series) and an NZXT Whisper.
