since it is so very hard to find a place that sells 3" subwoofer ports for my mod....i decided to make some (i need 2)....i will probably use pvc pipe. but i dont konw how to make that little lip at the end. Here are some pics of a 3" subwoofer port.(3" because that would fit a 80mm fan perfect.)

My friend has worked with PVC pipe like that before to make instruments. He says that he just used a heatgun to melt the ends and then bend them out. It won't be factory quality, most likely, unless you practice a LOT, but it should work.

yea i was thinkin about that...what did he use to bend it that way...i know u said a heatgun....the way i would do it is put enough through a piec of wood. then heat it...then bend it over ther wood. i guess

yes I just bought a woodheat iron and it works great. I cut downa tree and soldered it back together. try it.....that was a joke/

a WOOD soldering iron. to solder wood? haha can't sold wood back together. i dunno guess im dumb..sorry.

ahah wtf?...lmao...and by the way guys a foudn a way to make this. ill be using 3" pvc pipe...and i found these little inserts at lowes that slide in and they have the little lip im looking for but they have a sort of "grill" of plastic on them....DREMEL TIME!!

nvm guys..my brother-in-law said theres a stereo place inside a nearby mall that seels these ports for about 4$....if i were to make these ports ..it would be 13$

neevr mind all that buying stuff the dam store closed up (my luck) so i just bought inserts for pvc pipe which u can see in my worklog
