lol, 24 fps is different than 24 hz.
24 fps is the rate at which tradition film/movies are shot at.
The shift to lcd/plasma tvs introduced a problem with converting the 24 frames to 60 hertz (not an even multiple) so a technology called 3 to 2 pulldown was introduced.
The newegg specs is referencing the tv having an extra special mode to handle the 24 fps mode.
24 hz would be a bummer.

I know what fps is lmao I just read it wrong, my bad. :facepalm: :whistler:
Plus I'm a little gunshy, the wife bought a tv, said 120Hz on the box. But the owners manual said 60Hz, and quite frankly the motion sucks.

i've found that the motion on a 120HZ tv looks better if you turn off their "true life" motion.
