Thought I'd post these for sale here before I put them on eBay. Give you all a first shot at them.
So, here we are:
Two Sapphire Radeon HD 4870X2 video cards, stock HS/F, certified OC-capable by our own Kayin (not sure to what level). They work well, but generate a fair bit of heat, so may not be the best choice for a small case unless you want to LC them.
...and before anyone asks, yes, these are the ones I won in the raffle.. :whistler:
I was going to keep them, but fell in love with an Eyefinity setup instead, so I'm selling these (and later my GTX260's) to help fund a 6xxx card or two.
I'm asking $125+shipping each ($250+shipping for the set). Normally these go for $150-200 each on eBay, so I think this is a great deal for anyone who isn't concerned with Eyefinity or DX11 but wants to give a serious boost to their system.
Fair warning, these cards have apparently been having problems with some recent driver versions from AMD locking the second (and third and fourth if running both) GPUs into 2D mode, but apparently this can be fixed either by running an older driver version (I'm working on pinpointing which one works best atm) or by doing a small overclock to force them out of 2D mode.
