I hate wasting money on unfinished mods, and buying video cards and upgrades for hundreds of dollars, only to have a new technology come out(pci-e damn you). I'm still gonna hang around here, give computer advise and stuff, buy for as much gaming as i do(slim to nil), it's pointless. I wanna start making my life better, i've recently picked up weight lifting, and want money for whey and more weights. Also im getting really into drumming and want an electrical drum set(live in an apartment). I know i really haven't really contributed to this community except for hardware advise.

I don't know why im rambling, but there ya go. Again if you care im still gonna give advise, but no productivity is coming outta me.

Nooooo!!!

You're pretty much the only guy here who gives frank, honest, opinions!

Hey, if you're getting weights, check ebay: you can't get them shipped easy, but people are always selling weight stuff locally.

And with a post count of 828, don't let it be said you never made a contribution.

You'll be missed man-hope everything works out for you. See ya around.

hey, i give frank and honest opinions around here too!!!!

but aside from that point, i have to say GOOD JOB. modding does take up a lot of time and money. make sure to keep your neighbours up with your drumming, and every once in a while, bust down their doors and bench press their couch or something.

too bad i cant say a heck of a lot more, but ive only been around for a few months.

go break a leg, and while your at it, break both legs.

well, I certinally understand the money thing, thats why I'm still runnin a 9800XT. And you've contributed, I don't see how you can't with over 800 posts.

Well, see ya around and good luck with your weight training.

It sucks you've decided to stop modding.... but it's still good to hear that you'll still give advice.

^^^ i think more of the problem is, is that i spent multitudes of money, but never completed. I got a summer job, so towards christmas im probably gonna get an xbox 360 or ps3. Im still gonna be here(people read), but i expect that im only gonna give hard ware advise. A computer to me is now not a gaming machine, but is a tool.

um, a computer can be a gaming machine and you don't have to mod it.

I know, but i've spent just as much on upgrading as i have on modding, i've come to the realization that consoles are more fun. They are always stable, and you just have to sit down and play.

wow

you must be sick and tired it must take some strength to give up building and modding computers. i wouldnt be able to do it id have withdrawal affects and i would sit in a corner rocking i have recently took up weight training. I dont think you should give it up completely evrything that is good is only good in moderation. you can still mod and build computers but useing cheeper and older hardware its still fun. :)

yeah man, you could do waht i do.

mooch old cases off of people and drop a few bucks into a tiny mod now and then, and little fun stuff too like stealthing drives etc.

you could also do it for other people, or if you have a bit to show for your work, maybe get a sponsorship =].

Yeah if you see computers too much you can get sick of them. It nice to have something like a system where you can just pop in the disk and go. Well heres to your new start.
