noticed i had a msg at noon.. from my fiance... thought nothing of it.. and went back to sleep... woke up at 2.. and saw the msg... she had bad news... apparently my mom had called her... cuz she couldnt get a hold of me...
this morning... up at my moms house... my dog broke his chain... and attacked another dog... seeing as this wasnt the first time.... he was put down.... and worst part of it all.. at the end of the month i was supposed to move him in with me...

Feel for you for losing a family pet but think how the owners of the other dog feel? If a dog has that sort of behavioural issue it shouldn't be a pet...
Here is not the place nor is it the time for a debate or jokes. If you cannot show a modicum of sympathy for lithium's loss, then move along and post elsewhere.

Naw, man, they're trying to be supportive, not negative...
Dogs are funny animals - they're our best friends, but they have the ability to just snap sometimes. We take that risk when we take on a dog, and while it's heartbreaking, sometimes they just aren't safe any more.
Lithium - my childhood dog was put down without me knowing about it, or being there to say goodbye, and I remember the absolute heartbreak of it.
What type of dog was he?

Absolutely, no offence intended it's very sad to lose any kind of companion for any kind of reason... I've been lucky with dogs mostly, both childhood ones succumbed to age. My girlfriend and I had a black lab puppy a few years back though and while we were inside it managed to somehow climb right up a sheer 1m wall around our roof garden. It's horrible that anyone has to experience these emotions regardless of the situation, that said however, the situation WILL alter the way people react to the news...
No worries Munty, hurt is hurt. No matter the circumstances. Hang in there Lithium.
