here is my HTPC game rig i just finished....for now......



evga 750i ftw

e8600 @ 4.2

gtx460 sli

4gig dominator 1066 soon to be 8

kingston 64gig ssd soon to be 250gig

corsair hx650

corsair h50

all smashed into silverstone lc13

extra 120mm coolermaster right above 460's.



runs sweet,

cheers mate could be cleaner mabey with some sort of cable management but yhea pretty happy mate.

Nice build.

Did you use the stock thermal pad/goo on the H50? If yours is like mine, it could probably benefit from some lapping and some AS5. I got 5c+ temp drop overclocked and yours is quite a bit more then mine.

no lapping, just standard as h50. ran burn in / stress test for a good hour (real temp) showing 53c max i also run real temp in background while gaming, metro 2033 bullet storm, dead space 2 (awesomely freaky game) dirt 2, never gets past 48-50c. on my previous air cooler ISGC-100 could never run safely at 4.2, was getting up to 70c after first minute of stress test. the h50 is a bloody good cooler.
