Just curious if you guys have heard of this or not.

Anyways, I try loading pages here (and, IIRC, a couple other sites). About 30 seconds later, it times out with the page that says "Sorry, (site)'s domain could not be linked to an IP address.

Computer problem, ISP problem, what?

Screenshot?

I've never heard of that happening before..and the fact that it does it for some pages on here and not others is odd...it's like you're losing contact with the DNS server or something. :?

You got static DNS entries on your NIC? If not, try using Google's DNS entries of 8.8.8.8 for the primary and 8.8.4.4 for the secondary.

What about proxies? If that's checked in internet options or Firefox settings, you best be downloading Malwarebytes post haste. That crap only gets turned on when the bugs invade.

Traceroutes would be handy as well. I bet your ISP would like them too.

Just put in suggested DNS IPs.
No proxies.
As far as screenshot goes, I'll let you know next time I have one.

The extremely weird part is, it happens when I'm ALREADY IN THE FORUMS.

I find it very odd that ICMP (ping request) is turned off @ hop two. Who is your ISP?

The slowness is explainable: It's a 4g Internet connection.

And since I put in the fixed DNSes, it has sped up. Need to do another speedtest...
