I got the code today from this post:
http://hackaday.com/2011/04/05/ti-adds-some-linux-support-for-evalbot-weve-got-hardware-coupon-codes-for-you/

And after doing some research I don't think I can do much with it at the moment, so if anyone wants this SICK deal PM me and I'll give you the code I got :D

Apparently the codes gets $150 off, not $125 off. I may later try to get the eval bot and an arduino or maple working together! For what purpose.... not sure, but I'll think of something!

Looks like they ran out. I'll be interested to see what you do with yours, Will. ...I haven't really touched mine yet...

I did the first 'accidental' promo, and it was $125 off, this promo was apparently $150 off, or that is what the comments were reporting.

x88x, I haven't touched mine yet either, but it's more because I don't have a lot of time currently. It's either being spent on uni or sleep!

yea I saw in the comments some people got it free. my code got me $125 off, I think it depends on which kit you actually got, as there was 4 or 5 different versions. I got the one that HaD linked to at the bottom of the post

well I played with it a little, but the software end is still a little out of my knowledge base.

It's for sale, $25 + S&H

wtf does it do?

well out of the box it goes straight for a predetermined time, then turns randomly then straight, repeat. If one of the bumpers in the front hits something, it makes a "boing" noise, turns randomly then continues on its way.

But apparently you can do some neat stuff with the hardware on this thing. It's got a mini OLED display, ethernet, MicroSD port, a standard USB and a mini USB connector. It's a little out of my knowledge base though.
