Need LED advice Quick

My EVGA FTW has a red glowing E in the middle. i took it apart and found it has a 3mm red LED, can i hook up a 5mm LED to replace it? or would that not work...

It should work but there are two small things to consider - the voltage of the current led and the spacing of the LED legs - nothing major but worth checking your planned replacement won't burn out or barely glow because of V difference and so it'll physically fit

Yeah you should be able to a 5mm doesn't draw much more power then a 3mm. Post pics when its done.
