I think the thing is that it's not supposed to be available yet, and there it is on the store shelves. Whoever buys it will still have to wait for it. Steam isn't going to unlock it.

im not gunna say how... but ive played it...(finished it like 2 days ago) portal 2 is amazing...
those who dont know... portal 1 was more a test than a game...
portal 2 on the other hand... is EPIC
