I could go on about this potential amazing feat of british engineering, or the staggering cost, or any number of things in this article at Gizmodo...

Oh, and yes, the fact that they have to have a fuel pump that powerful is pretty crazy. :P That's a LOT of fuel.

Yes it is a LOT of fuel but it also is fighting the G load to deliver it which is a huge part of needing that much pumping power.

Ah man 12??? That's just a waste - you only need 11 - two sixpacks will cover most needs - and remember you have a spare hand when driving so you dont NEED all 12!!!

couldn't they just move the tank and fuel line ahead of the engine?


you'd save a formula 1 engines worth of weight.
