The best thing you can do is get a picture of your case on here so people can see it to come up with ideas. Luckily it's a well known case, but anyway, here's a pic of one.

http://www.pcgear.co.nz/image.php?productid=97736

Since this case can come with or without the window, the question is, does yours have a window? What color is it? etc?

This case is a design that is copied from another case and has been copied by at least two other case builders and it's been modded by a lot of people. I'd recommend that you look through a google image search with the name of your case to see some things other people have done with theirs.

That case design has always screamed "Ocean" to me, you know, sun, surf, waves, etc. So whenever I see it I get ideas for nautical themes. Lots of use of blue and green, stuff like that.

How is your painting skill level? Are you good at painting (we're talking like automotive painting here, not paint on canvas). If you can use an airbrush then you've got a ton of options there for color.

We kind of need to know where you stand on some things I think. For instance, what do you like? What are your interests? If you could make the case look like anything you wanted, what would it be? Do you have any ideas in mind but just don't know how to do them?

hey guys whats up i got some qastions;-)

sooo i got
This case http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16811133157

Im not happy with silver color i want to change it to black.
and i think i will do like this it will be my first mod so lets start it

I will paint Left (the plexi side) and Right side of the case, the fans are loud so i want use some stuff to "fix" them i will buy this or maybe sugest me somethin better (http://www.mnpctech.com/SonexWilltec.html)
So now i would have painted both sites (riht and left) i dont know if i can paint plexi...
later i would like to cut out the top of the case and put there plexi and where the usb and sound system is i would put there 120MM (green fan) so it would look like this http://www.mnpctech.com/120mmRadiatorFanGrill.html ON the Top.

Later i would like to paint all things inside with GREEN UV PAINT and organieze the cables with those http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/tubing.html tubs or with those http://www.crazypc.com/items/93270C.html - OR both suggest me.

So THE PLAN IS

1. Paint the Right and Left Side - On the plexi side i would want to put some blue applique Black- IF i can paint the plexi?

2. Cut the top part of the case and put there plexi or some window, in the middle of the window i would like to put 120mm fan(green fan) with http://www.mnpctech.com/120mmRadiatorFanGrill.html

3. Paint inside of thecase with UV GREEN PAINT
4.Organize tha cables with tubs/sleevving kits

5. And think about the Front cuz i dont have any ideas rite now...
Asus a8n5x motherboard
eVga geforce 7600GT
80GB ATA150
1GB RAm SAUMSUNG
430W Power suPPly
Amd athlkon 3200

This is my computer and although its a diffrent case its basicly the same thing your aiming for.

Since i have some experience...
the led lights counteract the uv paint. disconnect the led's or get ones without. My wire sleeving kit is on its way in the mail but i have a picture

You can get diffrent colors. i picked red because im going to use that psu in another computer thats currently under construction

The only thing i havent done yet is stealth the drives. i like the "white" on black contrast. i might stealth the drive but paint them bright white.

I hope you bought a molex remover. Unless that kit comes with a nonplastic one. I just spent last night replacing my molexes, after I bought one of those kits that came with a plastic one about a week ago, the plastic thing broke after about two pins, so I ordered some metal ones from Cablecrazy. Sorry for my incoherency, but I only got 10 hours of sleep. :P

Uv stuff is pretty cool, but don't run your Uv cathode with another set of cathodes (colored), otherwise it looks crap.

Yeah, do listen to all that advice above about the lighting, UV lighting isn't really going to give you the light, it's all the UV reactive parts you use that will give the light.

As for the painting, black is one of the hardest colors to paint because of how touchy it is, how easily you can mess it up, but if you have a lot of patience and time, you can do it.

The key things to painting, no matter what the color, are to sand, sand and sand some more, put down several primer coats, sand between each, then start with the color coats, light sand between each of those, more and thinner coats is better than less and thicker, so lay down as many coats as it takes and then start with your clear coats. Afterwards a bit of color sanding and buffing and you'll have a nice paintjob. But it isn't easy work, it takes time and a bit of skill. If your dad can help you there, that's good, experience is always good.

The green interior and UV sounds very cool. Replacing your molxes isn't difficult really. Just buy a molex extractor/inserter (About $20 US for a decent one) and replace all of them with nice UV reactive ones.

As for sound dampening, the link you've got there, that stuff seems a bit on the thick side. You can get much less obtrusive acoustic padding for inside your case than that from several places. Also another way to cut down on the noise is to switch from 80mm fans to 120mm fans, as they don't need to spin as fast to move the same amount of air, they're more effecient. So in effect you can either. A. Replace every 2 80mm fans with 1 120mm fan at full speed or, replace all your 80mm fans with 120mm fans and run them at a slower speed. (Second option is the better choice).

After a while i decided to use my sleeving uv green kit to "cover" my cables.
Schould i use molex remover to get the "thing off" so i could put the cables inside of the sleeving kit? Is this think fine?

Yeah, I'd replace the molexes with UV green ones, you can get them from lots of online resources, including EBay, or even get ones that light up green. They call them fireflys.
