Good on you, nVidia. ....about damn time... Now we can actually get a good AMD chipset and have officially supported SLI. Though, all it's probably doing at this point is adding those chipsets to the nVidia GPU driver whitelist.

EDIT:
Now just license CUDA to AMD already. :P

Good on you, nVidia. ....about damn time... Now we can actually get a good AMD chipset and have officially supported SLI. Though, all it's probably doing at this point is adding those chipsets to the nVidia GPU driver whitelist.

i think i read a article on that saying something like amd analyzed cuda and found is inferior to the set up ati will be coming out with in the next few years.

Oh, I don't doubt it, but if they could have their stuff be compatible with CUDA handles/etc, then all the programs out there that are already specifically written to use CUDA and PhysX libraries would work at least as well on AMD as nVidia....which I suppose is exactly why nVidia will never agree to do it. :(
