I know this is nothing at all to do with computers but it is to do with making things and i need help, you guys know more than anyone i know so i thought i would ask here. right my problem, i have been doing archery for 6 years now and my bow case is getting worn out and its time to replace it but i also have a load of tools to carry around for my bow and parts for it like more piles(the point) and nocks(the slot the string goes in) also little things like screw drivers and alan keys. Well i had an idea last night to make a bow case that had two compartments so i could open one side and have my bow and arrows and everything like that then turn it over and open it from that side and have all my tools, but im worried about weight if i made it out of wood. any sugestions?
Well, I'm not sure how much you want to spend, or how much experience you have, but I would recommend Aluminium for the frame and then maybe some thing wood for the sides. Or if you want it a bit more sturdy try steel. Goto home depot or you local hardware shop and look at their angle channel, ( L-shaped metal), with some bolts you can uild something pretty simple yet amazingly strong.

pretty much what Aero said.
You could also make a sort of quiver, but with pockets for tools, piles, and nocks.
Btw, if you can split an arrow from nock to pile with another arrow and give photographic evidence, i will give you a dollar =o

i would be lucky to hit a target 10 feet away, nevertheless split an arrow nock to pile.

Target, you dont realy get hunting in the Uk that much in fact i think it is ilegal, there is field shooting which is shooting at fake animals hid in bushes and stuff but im not interested in that.

Just a thought, is the bow tensioned when you carry it? Or do you unhook the string? (there are probably technical terms for that...).
If it is tensioned, then presumably it's D shaped so why not use the space inside the D for a smaller compartment to store the bits and bobs? No need to turn it over.

if you look to the left you can see my quiver with all my medals shiny :D and yes that needs to go in to.
as you can see in the next two pics the bow is in bits in the box, the limbs, riser(handle) and stabilizers(the red things) are all in bits.
