In this installment of Hardware Focus, we'll be looking at the DESIGNER Notebook Cooler from Antec.

Before I get into the body of the article, let me take a moment to summarize the Hardware Focus segment at TBCS. Hardware Focus will be a random mini review written by one of the TBCS Staff members. We will be taking a brief look at some products that we feel would make too short of an article to call it a full review. Sounds pretty neat huh? Well it gets much better! We will give you a chance to win every product we feature on Hardware Focus. We will wait 2 weeks and draw a name at random from the comments and that person will win one of the item that was featured...More (http://www.thebestcasescenario.com/frontpage/?q=Hardware-Focus-02-Antec-Designer).

Awesome review! Glad to see one that works as advertised lol. Don't enter me in the drawing though as I don't own a laptop, just wanted to comment :D

This seems interesting, and looks very cool!

Sign me up, as I'm looking for a way to chill my 15.4" lappy!

In the cramped dark confines of a laptop, 2 degrees C can make a huge difference. I really wish I had had one of these back in college when I had a mammoth first-gen Dell XPS laptop; that thing was a space heater!

Please sign me up for the giveaway; my HP dv6885se stays pretty cool, but it could always be cooler!

looks like a solid cooler to me. It works well, and it looks stylish to boot. that, and the extra height can be useful on some desks.
BTW, I'm still waiting for the prize from the first Hardware Focus -_-

It's nice to see a cooler that doesn't look like it was designed by Tonka. Having four options for where the USB cord comes out is a neat feature as where I'm using my laptop affects which ports are available. All in all, Antec lived up to the Designer moniker in my opinion.

Sorry guys, I'm such a slacker. There were a total of 5 replies to the thread. I listed your names in a text file 1-5, and then used random.org to pick a number from 1-5. The winner is AmEv. I'll PM Oneslowz28 to let him know.

Thanks, TBCS!

First time I've gotten something from an online drawing.
Shouldn't cause too many problems; my lappy has 4 total USB.

Pix to come :D
