Router dissconnecting

I'm havign problems, when i download large files (steam games mostly) my internet connection randomly goes out on me. Restarting the router fixes the problem, but its annoying, as i'll set the game to download, come back, and it will at 50% or so and have stopped.

I used to have this problem, due to my router overheating. Check it if it is getting enough airflow, not sitting directly on carpet, etc.
