WWF Case

Well this is my first worklog so bear with me. I have never taken on such a daunting task as making a whole case by myself! I am making a template out of metal and the end product will be made out of acrylic. I started this as a idea to do something to my regular case maybe just throw some vinyl on it or something so that it matched my WWF Royal Rumble pinball machine since it will be right beside it. Well the idea took off and now has turned into this thanks to some of the members here that contributed some ideas to me.
Well it all started as a sketch...

Then I remembered that I had a few extra cases laying around, so I took of the sides off of one and started from scratch redrawing the logo.

Its really hard redrawing something with so many angles and measurements. I have made a mess with my pencil and erasing it and repenciling it back in. But you get the idea. Here is the latest progress picture. The F is the hardest part of the logo and taking me the longest to get all the angles right.

Unfortunately that is as far as I have got on this but once it is drawn out it will be cut out and taken to a shop to have acrylic cut out. The front of the case is a whole nother story lol. I appreciate all feedback.

Read my post in the Ideas forum thread. Might make it easier on ya.

If you did that, masked off the WWF logo, then painted the outside, you could then etch the beveled edges of the logo to give it a 3D pop, it'd also glow with case lighting better that way too.
