I'm excited to say the least. They gave me a bit of run around with emails about my GTX280. Told me to do tests I had already done and told them about in the first email, etc, etc.

Sent my card in. Took a few days for them to say they had gotten it, but that would be accounted for by the long weekend.

Anyway,

I'm getting a GTX470 as a replacement for my GTX280 SC. Woot!

~20%+ faster and DX11, plus a pretty significant bump in PPD in folding. I'm excited.

Edit: Not really free I guess. The downtime of the GTX280 being dead, then the $20 to ship it out. But I'd say $20 was worth the upgrade. Will see when I get it.

Ya, I was really worried that I was going to get the run around like other people with the same problem on the same card. Other people kept getting the same card back that they had sent in more than three times.

I wasn't about to spend $20 three times and hope to get one that worked. If they sent me a dead one back I would have just moved on. Can't wait to see how this card does when it comes in.

Ian J was the one that put my RMA through. Kept asking questions that I already answered in previous emails, but maybe it's policy to ask those multiple times to make sure. Either way, he was nice and was super fast at responding to me.
